HISTORY
Established in 1994, the Eastlake Dance Team has created a rich legacy of successful teams, formed an extended family that dancers are welcomed into, and always work to give back to the Eastlake and Sammamish communities in different ways each year.
For over a decade our coaching staff has been comprised of Eastlake Dance alumni, and has worked to build and strengthen the foundation of our program each year through the ongoing development of our core covenants.

CORE COVENANTS
PURPOSE
Intention behind everything, with a disciplined focus on what we control. Every detail is important, and details will make the difference. Bonded by shared ambitions and personal motivation, we inspire each other to work as one, for everyone. 
ATTITUDE
Confidence in preparation and competitive readiness. We are demanding of ourselves, encouraging of each other, and remain open to new opportunities and challenges. Showing gratitude and respect in everything we do, success is determined by our mindset over outcomes, in all things.
COMMUNICATION
Conversations, confrontation, and critique are approached and accepted with positive intent, care, and consideration. Effective verbal and physical communication strengthens technical mastery, and builds trust in our team. We learn and grow through empathy and understanding with each other.  
KEEP PUSHING
Be better than yesterday’s you. Energy and perseverance towards our goals as a team, and as individuals. Consistency and grit allow us to navigate through challenges with persistence, building resilience. The power of determination fuels physical work each practice, towards the highest standard of execution and competition.
